Have you ever experienced sound leakage even when the volume is turned to zero?
This phenomenon occurs because the residual resistance inside the pot is too high, even when set to zero.
CTS Custom Pots improve upon traditional guitar pots, reducing this residual resistance to 4Ω or less, eliminating sound leakage when set to zero, and enhancing the clarity of the sound. This is a one-step upgrade for your guitar pots.
Generally, 500K guitar pots are used for humbucker pickups.
There is no set rule for using A or B curves for volume and tone.
It is a matter of preference, but it is common to use B curve for volume and A curve for tone.
The rotational torque of the shaft is slightly heavier compared to domestic guitar pots. Recommended if you feel that your hand accidentally turns the knob too easily!
