Vintage Children’s book lot 1940’s 50’s 60’s 8 books all hardcover please read

This is a nice group of older Children’s books. They came from the estate of a former librarian. Most are former school books and have a larger school stamp on the inside cover. The books all show some external soiling and edge wear but it is not excessive for their age. Internally they are all clean and tightly bound. The following are included: GOOFY THE GOAT Dorothea Snow 1946 - has original dust jacket but it is torn and in two pieces. Book itself is quite nice. THE THANKSGIVING STORY Alice Dalgliesh 1954 DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE Helen Borten 1959 LOOKING FOR ALEXANDER David Cornel DeJong 1963 - school book ONCE THERE WAS A BEAR Edward and Marguerite Dolsh 1962 - school book A CHILD’S GARDEN OF VERSES Robert Lewis Stevenson 1965 TIMMY AND THE TIN CAN TELEPHONE Franklyn M Branley & Eleanor K Vaughan 1959 - school book THE BEARS ON HEMLOCK MOUNTAIN Alice Dalgliesh 1952 They do have the old book smell.
