Product Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a lidded mizusashi featuring vibrant Momiji (maple leaves) set against a calm texture.
The entire piece has delicate kannyu (crackle glaze), making it a masterpiece that conveys the depth and warmth unique to pottery.
[Design and Features]
• Painting: Red and green Momiji are balanced, allowing you to enjoy the Japanese aesthetic not only in autumn arrangements but throughout the seasons.
• Texture: The fine crackle glaze spreading beneath the glaze creates a beautiful expression depending on the light.
• Inner Texture: The inside has a moist, grayish hue, offering a contrast of calmness to the exterior's vibrancy. It looks very appealing when the lid is removed and placed aside.
• Usage: It can be used for various purposes, such as a proper tea ceremony utensil (mizusashi), a large sweet container, or as an interior piece for displaying flowers.
[Condition]
• There are no cracks or chips, and the overall condition is good, with no significant damage.
• There are textures unique to pottery and changes due to age, such as on the rim. We hope to pass this on to someone who can appreciate it as a tasteful item and understands vintage and antique items.
