Figure Skating Blade Sharpening Oilstone (Fine Grit) - Special Order 32 - Due to rising costs
Learning to sharpen your blades will make skating even more enjoyable. Figure skating began with drawing figures on the ice. Why not try drawing figures skillfully? It's fun! This is a custom-made sharpening stone specifically for figure skating blades. It is 16mm thick and 5cm long, designed for sharpening Coronation blades and similar types. Coronation blades are 4mm wide, but the Gold Star blades used by competitors are 3.3-3.5mm wide, and Gold Seal blades are 3.5-4mm wide. Furthermore, Gold Star blades are narrower at the heel, making them suitable for toe jumps, while Gold Seal blades are the opposite and are ideal for edge jumps. For general users, the Radish Hole 16mm is most suitable. Competitors use stones that are 13-14mm. If the Radish Hole is deeper, it will grip well even on hard ice, but spins will be more difficult and tiring. P.S. Sharpening involves rotating the stone, so petroleum is the best lubricant. Your hands might smell a bit like petroleum, but (#^.^#)
