Description

ELB Cello Hill Boxwood Tailpiece
Tailpiece for Cello with String Length Correction (Harp Style), Boxwood
- Accessories: Includes tailpiece for installation

This tailpiece is designed to correct and adjust the length from the bridge to the tailpiece to maximize the unique characteristics of each string. While the effect of replacing a standard tailpiece may vary depending on the individual characteristics of the string instrument, there are many reports of dramatic improvements and changes in sound quality.
The effects of this correction include the following:

1) Elimination or reduction of wolf tones.
2) Suppression of undertones.
3) Richer low-frequency range.
4) Enhancement of the individual cello's characteristics.
