New LEISMOR Bottle Upgrade Kit for Pocari Sweat 900ml Bottles

This is a customization kit that makes it significantly easier to use the commercially available Otsuka Pharmaceutical Pocari Sweat 900ml bottle as water storage for hikers and mountaineers. (Bottle not included in the kit)

When hiking, we often choose plastic bottles for water storage due to their lightness and convenience.

When it comes to Japanese plastic bottles that offer lightness, slimness, durability, just the right capacity (900ml), and are easily available at convenience stores and supermarkets, the Pocari Sweat 900ml bottle (33g/900ml) is the clear choice.

This easy availability is extremely important. Unfortunately, slim plastic bottles made overseas are not officially imported into Japan, and parallel imports are traded at quite high prices on auction sites, making them difficult to obtain.
Furthermore, the petal-shaped concave bottom of this bottle is an advantage, as it stands relatively stably on uneven terrain and rocky ground compared to overseas plastic bottles with flat bottoms.

Moreover, this 900ml capacity is also exquisite. In the warmer seasons ahead, setting one bottle on each side of your backpack's side pockets is just the right amount of hydration for day hikes. When used in conjunction with a water bladder or water filter, it's also a convenient size for multi-day treks and long trails.
