Description
This is a beautiful antique Art Nouveau sash pin with a large piece of amethyst glass. The glass is covered on the back, giving it a foiled look. The front has a dark copper look to it, but the metal is most likely bronze. The brooch has not been polished to retain the natural patina. There are normal signs of age and use, including a small amount of green tarnish. Overall, the pin is in very good shape for its age. Made around the 1890s-1900s. Approximate Measurements: 2.5 in. x 1.75 in.
