Purchased in about 1997 at a luxury shoe boutique in Charleston, SC. One owner.  Ladies size 38, made in Italy. An incredibly rare, 100% authentic archival piece from the late 1990s Karl Lagerfeld era. These vintage Chanel crossover strappy platform (1.25”) slide sandals feature the highly sought-after, prominent debossed CHANEL spellout text wrapping completely across the leather straps.  **CONDITION DETAILS (SOLD AS-IS):**  Please review all images carefully before buying. This pair is a dedicated restoration project:  • **Toes:** Leather is scuffed and peeling at the toes tips and shows wear along the platform edges.  • **Footbeds:** Show  areas of peeling at the toes, ball of foot, and heel edge.  • **Straps:** The iconic debossed logo leather straps remain completely intact, clear, and legible, nicely pliable.
