47.00 $
Description
This vintage Amberina red glass pedestal cake stand attributed to Viking Glass Co., features a vibrant red color with a smooth, glossy finish. The addition of cadmium compounds and selenium into the molten glass mixture during production gives the base a glow under UV light. It is perfect for displaying cakes, pastries, or other desserts elegantly. The stand is sturdy with a wide base for stability and a slightly raised center. There are minor surface scratches consistent with gentle use, but no chips or cracks. A beautiful addition to any table setting or collection of vintage glassware.
