Description
This is a Kamakura-bori confectionery bowl. It has been used infrequently, but there are small scratches due to long-term storage. There are also stains on the inside of the bowl. Please check the photos.
The surface is finished with a traditional vermilion (red) lacquer coating, characterized by a textured, stone-like carving. The Okina (old man) motif is treated as a special celebratory piece in Noh theater and is cherished as an auspicious item.
