This gorgeous object is a vintage whitefriar's tricorn glass vase, pattern number 9570. Designed by the celebrated British glass artist Geoffrey Baxter. It features a brilliant Ruby red inner core encased beautifully in heavy three sided clear glass. This beautifully designed Tricorn vase is spectacularly colored with a layer of radiant Ruby red encased within the three sided sparkling clear glass form. A vibrant Ruby red color radiates throughout the form and becomes electrified with a magical intensity with light illuminating the glass. The stylish flare clear glass base adds a dramatic sense of movement to the form and acts like a lens magnificently magnifying and distorting the light to create striking optical effects. A fabulous addition to any vintage Whitefriars art glass or mid century design collection. Has a beautiful smooth ponytail on the base. 9.25 inches tall, 1 inch opening neck. Width is 1.75 inches.
