Up for sale is a rare, beautifully preserved Mid-Century Modern Crown Devon ceramic pocket vase, stamped with the shape model code A 404 on the base. Made in England by S. Fielding & Co. during the 1950s. Design Features: Unique asymmetric gathered handkerchief bag structure featuring multiple separate posy/bud flower pocket folds. - Tactile, matted bark/pebbled textured cream exterior. - Hand-painted retro organic abstract linear design accents in black filled in with muted blue, yellow, and rust. Vibrant, glossy fire-red contrast glazed top. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or structural repairs. I have gently cleaned the interior, there are a few small marks that likely could be removed, I just didn't want to chance breaking the piece. Shows minimal, age-appropriate bottom wear.
