Rare Signed 1998 Studio Art Pottery by Kersey Barrett-Tormey (KBT) This stunning Tide Pool geode bowl is a beautiful example of late-90s American studio craft. Hand-crafted in Santa Cruz, California, this piece features a heavy, earth-toned stoneware base with a brilliant, deep cobalt blue fused glass center. Key Features: Hand-Signed & Dated: Clearly marked KBT 98 on the base. Artistic Technique: Created by melting recycled glass shards into the ceramic base during firing, resulting in a unique, jewel-like crackle or crazing effect that mimics a natural geode or coastal tide pool. Aesthetic: Perfect for Coastal, Brutalist, MCM Revival, or Boho-Chic decor. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks (other than intentional crazing), or repairs. Includes original felt protection pads on the base. Note: This is a decorative art piece. Due to the nature of fused glass crazing, it is not food-safe.
