Antique Balkan War Commemorative Silk Handkerchief (c. 1912-1913) A rare, authentic early 20th-century printed silk souvenir handkerchief capturing a pivotal moment in WWI prelude history. Features a 48-star American Flag centered among portraits of Balkan League monarchs, including King Peter of Servia, Queen Olga of Greece, and Queen Eleonore of Bulgaria. Printed with a gorgeous ornate blue/green border and catalog mark No. 3 in the corner. This historic textile has been preserved and flat-mounted behind protective plastic however, I will carefully remove it and ship it wrapped loosely in acid-free tissue paper to save on shipping costs. Material: Printed Silk Era: Pre-WWI / Balkan Wars (circa 1912) Condition: Vintage condition consistent with 110+ years of age. Shows light creasing, edge fraying, and minor age-toning spots.
