VINTAGE US ARMY MEANS TO SUSTAIN CREST PIN BRASS ENAMEL INSIGNIA NS MEYER USA Vintage U.S. Army distinctive unit insignia crest pin featuring a shield with a red center stripe, silver-toned field, and blue upper band with three gold flame symbols. The lower scroll reads MEANS TO SUSTAIN in black lettering with gold-tone edging and multicolor enamel details. The reverse is stamped N.S. MEYER INC NEW YORK with two small shield hallmarks and has a dual-post clutch-back attachment with round fasteners. Size: 1 1/4 x 1 Condition: Good vintage condition with minor expected age-related wear, probably heavier than average finish wear as shown.
