Meiji period lacquer sake cup with original box
This is a lacquer sake cup from the early Meiji period.
The Japanese paper that wrapped the cup can be read as Meiji 15th year and Dai Ni Jusanjo (Second Industrial Training Center).
It is unclear whether it was received at that time, as Jusanjo seems to be a place similar to vocational training centers today.
As this is an antique item, please consider it for display and collection rather than for use.
