★Rare Tsugaru Lacquerware Soup Bowls, Unused Set of 5

Warehouse Release! Rare Tsugaru Lacquerware Bowls, Unused Set of 5

✴︎Price Non-Negotiable

This is a set of 5 Tsugaru lacquerware bowls, stored long-term in a private collection.

Tsugaru lacquerware has traditional craft techniques such as Karatōri, Nanako-nuri, Monsha-nuri, and Nishiki-nuri.

When these were purchased, the Tsugaru lacquerware artisans for each style of lacquerware were passed down through generations within a family.
It is said that in the past, when a TV show wanted to create a story starting a season in Aomori Prefecture, they requested an introduction to a Tsugaru lacquerware workshop. Because Tsugaru lacquerware is passed down through generations within a family and to a single heir, they were told to go through the Tsugaru Lacquerware Association, and this was relayed to the TV station.
In this way, Tsugaru lacquerware continues to be a type of lacquerware carefully protected by artisans and workshops.

For those sensitive to lacquer, some buyers of new products occasionally express concern about lacquer allergies. However, as these have been stored long-term in a private collection, we believe there is no concern about lacquer allergies.
