【Additional Information】
These boots are designed for wear by US special forces during direct rope descents.
As such, features for rope descent are incorporated throughout.

- Reinforced heel exterior and non-slip features for better control during initial rope descent.
- Special processing on the arch area to withstand friction with ropes.

Additionally, while standard Vibram soles have a yellow Vibram logo, these feature a special black logo for reduced visibility during descents.

While a low-cut, all-nylon model without GORE-TEX called Melee has been available in Japan, this mid-cut, leather GORE-TEX version appears to be unreleased in Japan.

Other colors like TAN and Multicam exist for this model, but the GORE-TEX version is only available in black.

Due to the thick inner lining, these boots fit about 0.5cm smaller than Danner Lights.
For reference, my foot width is wide, and while I wear US 9 1/2 (27.5cm) in sneakers and US 8 1/2 (26.5cm) in Danner Lights and Red Wings for a perfect fit, these boots in US 9 (27.0cm) fit me perfectly.

This model is already difficult to obtain, even in the US, due to stock shortages. We recommend these boots not only for professionals involved in rope descents but also for those who enjoy mountaineering and hiking, or for airsoft players aiming for US special forces gear.
