Description
Pair of vintage chalkware salt and pepper shakers depicting a Dutch boy in a turban-style hat with a red outfit and a Dutch girl in a bonnet with a blue skirt. Both figures feature original cork stoppers and are stamped U.S.A. on the bottom. Heavy paint chipping, paint loss, surface wear, and flaking are visible throughout both pieces, exposing white chalkware underneath. The top tip of the boy figure's hat has a prominent chipped area. Cork stoppers remain intact.
