Purchased for snow mountains and used once, but I haven't had the chance to go to snow mountains since. I've used it a few times as a warm layer for autumn mountain hikes.
For snow mountains, you can layer a hardshell jacket over this, or for rainy autumn weather, layer rainwear to maintain warmth.
This fabric is blended with wool, so even if you sweat, it has a natural deodorizing effect, making it less prone to odor. It also has water-retaining properties, so it doesn't feel clammy.
For clear autumn and winter days, I think it's good to wear a water-repellent base layer underneath and then this hoodie to hike without sweating too much.
