Hong Kong Handover Commemorative Royal Hong Kong Golf Club Crystal Glass - Unused, Long-Term Storage

This is an unused item, purchased by the seller themselves from The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club in 1997, just before Hong Kong's handover to China. It has been stored at home ever since 1997 and is now being listed as part of a decluttering effort.

The Hong Kong Golf Club, opened in the late 19th century as a recreational facility for British expatriates, was granted the right to use the title The Royal during the reign of Queen Victoria in 1897. As proof of this, they were permitted to use the crown emblem on their equipment and merchandise. These items were sold with the crown emblem until just before the handover of Hong Kong to China in July 1997, but are no longer available for sale. Products bearing The Royal title are considered premium, commemorative items, and historical collectibles. This item is now being offered to those who are interested. This glass is substantial and would be perfect for slowly savoring a Scotch whisky. It also makes a great Father's Day gift.

- Condition and Other Details: No scratches, no stains, no discoloration. Please refer to the attached photos. (The fabric inside the box has discoloration due to long-term storage.)

*Shipping: After your order is placed, we will ship within 1-2 days with careful packaging.
