Vintage COPCO Michael Lax Green Enamel Cast Iron Oval Baker Denmark MCM

Vintage COPCO enameled cast iron oval casserole / au gratin baker designed by Michael Lax and made in Denmark.  Classic Mid-Century Modern design featuring a bright avocado green enamel exterior, cream enamel interior, heavy cast iron construction, and sculpted integrated handles.  Michael Lax designed a well-known line of enamel-coated cast iron cookware for COPCO beginning in the 1960s, and these pieces have become collectible examples of Scandinavian-influenced modern kitchen design.   Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. Interior has utensil marks, discoloration and surface wear. Bottom has oxidation/rust spotting and heavier oxidation along one area of the underside. There are scattered enamel chips/wear around the rim and exterior. Please review all photos closely.
