Antique Point de Paris Dancing Single Rose Motif Center Framed Doily

A beautiful antique from France.
A chic and elegant round doily with a rose floral pattern woven using the Point de Paris technique with bobbin lace.
The design, featuring a thin lawn fabric in the center and framed, is unusual.

A rondo where four roses dance around the frame, one by one.
Dewdrops/petals dance refreshingly.
On the rim, 12 rose profiles seem to gaze at the scene.

A design with Art Nouveau motifs from the late 1800s to the 1920s.

Supple stems that bend freely.
Flowers and leaves that spread delicately and gracefully.
Reliefs woven with varying tension to appear raised and three-dimensional.

A relief of flowers and leaves woven densely around the outer edge, as if holding hands and smiling.

The edge is delicately finished with small picot lace embroidery, detailed down to the last corner.

The mesh base is a net weave made by crossing threads diagonally, like a six-pointed star.
It is also robust and strong.

Ivory with a slight yellowish or grassy hue.
An elegant and nuanced antique ivory color, as if containing the patina of time.

The central fabric is woven with very fine threads and is of high quality.
The entire piece is very smooth, supple, light, cool to the touch, and has a crispness.
The material is likely linen, but it also has a subtle silk-like sheen and crispness.
The threads forming the motifs and the outline threads both have an elegant sheen and luster.

In very clean condition, appearing to be unwashed, unused new, without scratches or stains, but please forgive any small oversights.

With only a few thread ends showing, it is difficult to distinguish from the front, and both sides are beautiful.

For displaying objects, bisque dolls, dolls, or your favorite tea set.
It would also be beautiful framed.
