Vintage '40s/'50sVernon Kilns Vernonware Homespun Coffee Carafe with Stopper Lid

For sale is a vintage 1940s/1950s Vernon Kilns Vernonware Homespun Coffee Carafe with Stopper-style Lid. Both pieces are hand-painted with a glossy finish in Homespun's multi-color plaid pattern, which was made in California, USA, from 1948-1958. It measures 8.5 high (including lid) and has a Bakelite handle. Both pieces are in very good vintage condition. To note: the lid is rough around the bottom (photo 6) and has a small raised area on one side (photo 7). The Bakelite handle is attached to the carafe with a metal ring, and as you can see in photos 9-12, the front of the ring doesn't quite lay flat against the piece of rubber underneath it. I can see a bit of discoloration directly underneath the ring. There is a rough area on one side of the spout (photos 11 & 12). There is a small area near the bottom of the carafe where some paint has chipped off - please see photos 13-15. Finally, there are some marks and kiln marks on the bottom of the carafe.
