This is an old Noritake hibachi (charcoal brazier) from the past.
1933, Showa 8, Nitto Seal, Nippon Toki Kaisha
Tokaido Gojusan-tsugi (53 Stations of the Tokaido) ceramic hibachi, teaburi (hand warmer) from the early Showa period
Diameter approx. 25cm, Height approx. 23cm

Can be used as a planter cover, umbrella stand, flower pot, goldfish bowl, medaka (killifish) bowl,
slipper holder, vegetable holder for potatoes etc., trash can,
wine cooler, a hiding place for your cat... etc.
We believe it can be wonderfully used depending on your arrangement.

With its Ukiyo-e and Japanese pattern design, it would also be appreciated by overseas customers as a Japanese antique.

As this is a ceramic piece from a very old era,
there may be kiln marks (scratches from firing), small scratches, glaze missing, glaze peeling, inclusions, pinholes, warping, stains, dirt, etc.

As it contained ash, it was likely used, but
considering it is 92 years old, we believe it is in beautiful condition.
