Antique quilt from around the 1920s featuring a Dresden patchwork design. There is a tag on the back reading, Quilt Heritage Registered by Washington State Historical Society Tacoma, WA. The name of the quiltmaker is Emma Forsyth. Blue border, yarn-tied (not edge to edge). Lots of beautiful details and the variety of vintage fabrics is a delight. Would best fit a full size bed. Condition: Preloved antique with normal flaws for its age including stains, holes, discoloration, and missing patches. The brown leaves on the quilt backdrop seem to have worn out in particular. There is missing stitching along the edges. The hand-tied quilting method has let this quilt become lumpier than being stitched edge to edge. See examples of flaws in close-up photos.
