This spectacular heirloom quilt features meticulous, high-quality hand embroidery showcasing the 50 US states, each with its official state bird, state flower, year of admission, and order of statehood. Features & Details: Design: Interlocking hexagon blocks framing a beautifully detailed embroidered map of the United States in the center. Accented by a patriotic border with hand-appliquéd blue stars and red, white, and blue strip borders. Includes Alaska (49th) and Hawaii (50th). Craftsmanship: 100% hand-stitched embroidery and quilting. The needlework on the birds, flowers, and state outlines is exceptionally vibrant and detailed.Backing: Solid plain white backing with a clean red border trim. Measures approximately 98 x 84” (Perfect for a Statement Queen or King size bed, or as a massive wall hanging display). Condition: Excellent vintage condition overall!
