This is a set of two interesting patterned nagajuban (underkimono) from the Taisho era. The material is pure silk.
The size is: length 136 cm, sleeve length 52 cm,裄 (yuki - distance from center back to cuff) 64 cm.
The brown one has a sleeve length of 49 cm, a length of 146 cm, and a裄 of 64 cm. I am listing these hoping they can be used as antique fabric.
Also included are two men's obi (sashes) and a beautiful patterned haori lining.
These were my stylish grandfather's kimonos, who was born in the Meiji era. I kept them hoping to make something out of them, but as I am getting older, I would like to pass them on.
