Description
This is an Iwachu Nambu Tekki (cast iron kettle).
It does not come with a box.
It was stored on a shelf at my parents' home.
It is unused, but it is 50 years old.
There is some damage to the tea strainer that contacts the lid.
I tested it with water, and there were no leaks.
It is inscribed with Completion Commemoration 1969 and the name of a cooperative.
This is a black cast iron kettle with a textured, uneven pattern, and it comes with a tea strainer and a trivet.
The kettle measures approximately 16x14xH10cm.
The capacity is approximately 600cc.
Based on my research on the Iwachu website, I believe this is the Type 5 Kameko Set (turtle shell pattern set).
