【Rare】John Lobb Tiverton (L8000) 6.5E Leather Shoes

This is a pair of John Lobb Tiverton, size 6 1/2. The last is 8000. The Tiverton style is similar to the Luffield from the Prestige line, also famous from the movie 007, and this is a piece from the golden age of John Lobb's leather shoes.

I purchased them around 2010 at the John Lobb François Premier store in Paris.

As you can see from the serial number in the photos, these are from a time when production was smaller than it is now, with numbers in the 70,000s. The leather quality is also superior and different from what is used today.

The 8000 last is long-nosed, and compared to lasts like the 7000, the toe is slightly more squared, giving a sharp, high-quality, elegant, and refined impression.

I believe the leather is the same as the black calfskin used for the City2. It offers a firmer feel than museum calf but also seems highly durable.

These have been used for rainy days, so a rubber sole has been attached.
Neither the rubber sole nor the main sole has been replaced, so I believe they can still be worn for a long time.

*As these are not from the Prestige line, a shoe tree is not included. However, if you wish, a size 6E shoe tree can be provided for an additional ¥20,000.
