I love Thailand and traveled there often.
The kind smiles of the Thai people, the glittering temples, the punchy cuisine, it's vibrant and energizing to visit.
It's one of my favorite countries.
And for women, the best part is the spa. . :*☆
You can experience it at prices that are unthinkable in Japan.
From affordable places to luxurious spas with a rich atmosphere.
As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the wonderful scent of aroma and relaxing music that calms the soul.
It's a completely different world from the hustle and bustle of the city, like suddenly arriving in heaven.
The interiors were stylishly decorated with a blend of traditional crafts and modern pieces, and I was often impressed by how wonderful they were.
This has become long, but among them, the gong was often displayed in the center.
I'll buy a gong and take it home! I immediately decided and visited various shops.
However, they were surprisingly hard to find, and I had quite a bit of trouble finding a gong I liked.
This one was purchased at a lovely interior shop in the Gaysorn building in Bangkok, located next to the InterContinental Hotel, which is filled with brand shops.
That shop displayed tasteful tableware, ornaments, cushion covers, tapestries, and other fabrics, all arranged in a modern style using traditional Thai techniques. It was a wonderful space that stood out from other craft shops, and I wanted to take the whole shop home with me.
And that's where I finally found this gong!
It has a clean style with a moderate presence.
It has an antique-like finish.
I bought it because I felt it would match well with any ornament displayed alongside it.
However, it was difficult to bring home.
Because the leg part has depth, it wouldn't fit in my suitcase, so they wrapped it thoroughly in bubble wrap, and I carried it on the plane as hand luggage.
Its lightness was its only saving grace.
When I finally got home and showed it to my family, they burst out laughing, saying, You finally bought a gong too! (≧∇≦)
Despite the trouble of bringing it home, this gong has only been displayed for a few days after returning to Japan and is still sleeping, wrapped in bubble wrap.
Although it's an item full of memories, I need to downsize my collection due to my age, so I'm listing it for sale.
Given where it was purchased, it was quite expensive.
Please understand and consider it as is.
