It’s actually two jackets in one and will give me flexibility to wear it in spring and fall using the inner jacket. The removable hood was a nice inclusion. This will work well in our New England winters and feel it will wear well over many seasons. Initially I was concerned about the pieces being completely separate and the outer shell not providing enough coverage/warmth. But after wearing in below freezing and windy conditions, it was plenty warm. I now like the flexibility to go with the puffer by itself. Lots of options on how to wear! Inner jacket is great option with changing weather.
