ABP‎ Cut Crystal Bowl 9.5" Master Centerpiece 5lb Brilliant Period EAC Antique

Up for sale is a magnificent, authentic American Brilliant Period (ABP) cut glass master bowl, circa 1890–1910. This is a substantial centerpiece sized piece, weighing nearly 5 pounds, which signifies the high lead content and elite craftsmanship of the era.  Patterns: Intricate hand-cut Pinwheels (Buzz Saws), Brunswick Stars, and fine Strawberry Diamond cross-hatching. Base: Features a massive, deeply cut 24-point rayed star on the floor. Brilliance: Exceptional clarity with the steely blue-white fire unique to antique lead crystal. It produces a long, clear, bell-like ring when tapped.  Overall: Excellent antique condition. The glass is clear with no sick cloudiness. Rim: Features a hand-cut sawtooth edge. Typical of 100+ year old glass, there are minor flea-bites/nicks. Note on Authenticity: One sawtooth appears shorter but is completely smooth to the touch.
