GRETCH G-5412 42-strand Snare Drum Used
26.40 $
Description
This is a 42-strand snare wire for Gretsch.
It was originally attached to a Gretsch snare drum (purchased new) that I own, but I don't like the 42-strand type, so I'm selling it.
I've used it a few times, but I believe it's still usable.
As shown in the 4th photo, there is some rust. Personally, I don't feel it affects the sound, but I don't recommend this for those who are concerned about it.
As a bonus, I'll also include a Ludwig snare wire and a Gibraltar 42-strand snare wire.
These were attached to a Ludwig snare drum I purchased used, and I'm unsure how much they were used. One strand is missing, but they are still usable. Please consider these as freebies.
I purchased the Gibraltar 42-strand snare wire new to compare it with the Gretsch one, and I've only used it once. It's clean with no scratches, so it's a great deal as a set.
