Description
Condition: very good condition, no chips or cracks, the surface is smooth and shiny. There are hard to see scratches on one side. See pictures. Solid piece with pontil mark on the bottom. A studio piece but not sure of origin. Google lens states: your piece is a mid-century studio art glass vase. During the 1950s and 1960s, master glassblowers across regions like Murano, Italy, and Scandinavia frequently experimented with heavy, organic forms. They often created thick, cylindrical vessels by hand and skillfully pulled or tooled the hot glass outward to create those distinctive braided, chevron-ribbed side fins.
