Antique Chinese Cinnabar Ring Carved Floral Silver Gold Gilt Enamel Adjustable

This is a silver ring gilt in gold, with blue, red and green enamel detailing surrounding a carved oval cinnabar plaque set inside a bezel setting.  The green chinese character on the side symbolizes longevity.  Currently sized at 7.5 and the shank expands to fit a little larger or smaller.  These rings were typically made in China for export dating to the earlier part of the 1900’s.  This ring is marked SILVER on the inside of the narrowest part of the shank.  This ring has its original patina and has not been cleaned.   Top measures 7/8” wide by 1 1/8” long and about 1/4” thick. Shank is a pierced screen with applied enamel longevity character and traditional symbols.
