Description
I just love this brooch, an oldie and a goodie! I am dating to the 30’s but it could actually be older per use of the c-clasp. The horseshoe is made from some kind of sheet metal and then painted bright red. The applied horse head is molded plastic and then hand painted. There is some chipping to the edges of the paint on the horseshoe, to be expected in a piece that has lasted a century! I just love this piece. Unsigned and measures 1 7/8 by 1 5/8”.
