This is a twin pedal combining the DW2000 and DW4000. The DW4000 is set as the slave (left) pedal, but by attaching the included spring assembly (possible with the included tools), each can be used as a single pedal.

The DW2000 is the successor to the 4000, but its footboard rigidity and hinge have been improved compared to the 4000 and older models of the 5000. The 2000 is superior in terms of fast double strokes and stability of foot pressure. Both pedals are smooth with no hinge wobble that you might feel when playing, which is common in older pedals. The feel is light (quick initial response), and I think it's easier to play for beginners than the double-chain 5000. Especially the 5000 models from before the early 2000s are on par with or below the 2000. Also, for the 5000 and above, there are the TD (Turbo Drive) with a true circular cam and the AD (Accelerator Drive) with a strong eccentric cam (similar to TAMA's Power Glide). For beginners, I recommend the TD.

*As a side note, the price difference between the 2000, 5000, and 9000 series is overwhelmingly due to the precision and durability of the hinge. When buying a used pedal, the most important point is whether the hinge is in good condition.
