The works of the late Western-style painter Kiyomi Mishio will be used as set art in the TBS Sunday drama The Royal Family, which begins airing on October 12th (every Sunday at 9 PM).

In the 30-second promotional video released before the broadcast, we have already seen the artwork adorning a room in the drama.
We expect that viewers will have many opportunities to see the paintings throughout the main broadcast.
The artist's paintings are characterized by their unique use of color and a soft, gentle style, reflecting the artist's warm personality and life experiences.
Although the artist sadly passed away in 2022, their remaining works continue to be seen by many people across Japan, bringing healing and inspiration.

We sincerely hope that this opportunity for the artwork to be featured will convey Kiyomi Mishio's warm thoughts and messages embedded in his paintings, along with the emotional impact of the drama, to a wider audience.

Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the artist's family for their understanding and cooperation, as well as to everyone involved with the TBS Sunday drama.
