Toshiaki Ohtoshi "Awaji Doll Dressing Room Osome" Oil Painting Framed With Inscription Still Life Doll Painting

Thank you for looking.

By Toshiaki Ohtoshi
Awaji Doll: Osome in the Dressing Room

This is an oil painting depicting the Awaji Doll.
It is a still life work with the doll as the subject, rather than a person, and has high artistic value.

This piece was originally purchased directly from the artist by my mother.
The back of the frame is inscribed with the title and artist's name, and a certificate of authenticity is also attached.

The artist is known as a Western-style painter associated with Hyogo Prefecture, and is highly regarded for his works inspired by local culture and the Awaji Doll.
This piece beautifully contrasts the vibrancy of the red costume with the subdued background, featuring impressive rich colors and powerful brushstrokes.

It is easy to display in both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and is recommended for traditional Japanese houses, inns, shop decorations, and Japanese modern interiors.
