A striking oversized vintage needlepoint canvas from Amy's Damarj Needlepoint Designs, titled Akiko – Autumn Lady. This dramatic design depicts an elegant Japanese woman viewed from behind, dressed in a sweeping black kimono accented with oversized white chrysanthemums and richly colored autumn leaves.  The predominantly black ground creates a particularly dramatic backdrop for the white, turquoise, rust, gold and muted olive details.
