CB Radio CB RADIO USA Travel

Description
This is a Cobra HH 50 WX ST CB Radio. I purchased it for communication during my trip to the US in places where cell phones and Wi-Fi were unavailable. It's commonly used by local truckers and outdoor enthusiasts.
It's in near-unused condition, only tested for operation after purchase.
Would this be good for someone going on a road trip in America, or for radio enthusiasts?
