The Eight Strap is an 8-shaped lifting strap. Based on straps favored by strongmen, it has been improved for Japanese users with different hand sizes and is designed for users handling heavy weights. It is used to assist grip strength in exercises that involve pulling barbells or dumbbells from the ground, such as deadlifts, shrugs, and bent-over rows.

Features of the Eight Strap

The most distinctive feature of the Eight Strap is the diamond stitching in the center. Overseas products are sewn in a square, causing the loop shape to spread horizontally. For Japanese people with relatively small hands, this made it difficult to fit the barbell properly and resulted in poor stability. By making the stitching diamond-shaped, the loop becomes more vertical, clearly defining the space to fit the barbell in the center. This has been improved to create a product with excellent stability when worn.
Another advantage is the use of cotton, which feels good against the skin. Nylon is durable, but it can feel a bit stiff against the skin. By using thicker cotton, we have achieved good durability while maintaining a soft feel against the hands.

The Eight Strap is structurally impossible to come off.

Due to its structure, the Eight Strap is impossible to come off, allowing you to hold the grip loosely without gripping it thumb-less.

It is especially recommended for those who grip too tightly during deadlifts or bent-over rows and cannot effectively use their latissimus dorsi.
