Nishida Black Formal Kimono (Kurotomesode) with Long Under-kimono

This is a luxurious black formal kimono (kuro-tomesode) custom-made by Mr. Shida at a long-established kimono shop in Kyoto.

It was purchased approximately 30 years ago for around 1.45 million yen.

While I don't have extensive knowledge, this is a very elegant and luxurious black formal kimono. Although it's been about 30 years, I don't believe the color has faded at all. I am still moved by its beauty every time I see it.

It embodies the dedication of those who created and sold it. It would be of value not only to wear but also to appreciate and own as a work of art.
