This is a rare, original drawing of a nude by Yasuomi Hashimoto (1943-2014), a leading figure in the contemporary sculpture world.

After graduating from the Sculpture Department at Tokyo University of the Arts, Hashimoto was a sculptor who received numerous accolades, including the New Artist Award at the Shinseisaku Exhibition and the Hakone Open-Air Museum Award at the Rodin Grand Prize Exhibition.

This piece was created in 1979, and the sculptor's unique ability to grasp space is strongly reflected in this drawing.

The powerful lines capturing the movement of the moment and the abstract expressions woven by shades like ink create an overwhelming sense of vitality, even in a still image.

Drawn from a sculptor's perspective, this drawing is highly valuable as a one-of-a-kind original artwork, and is highly recommended as a piece for modern interiors, shop fixtures, or as part of a collection.
