My late grandmother purchased this artwork from an art gallery that imported Raymond Peynet's works from the Showa era.
It cost around 200,000 yen at the time.
There used to be a certificate of authenticity for the artwork, but it was lost during multiple moves.
The frame has signs of age-related deterioration and scratches from moving.
The frame has scratches and dirt.
The artwork itself is protected, but there is some slight paper yellowing.

Since glass would be too risky for this size, it was fitted with an acrylic board for earthquake protection. However, due to numerous scuff marks from moving, a new one has been ordered.
This was a custom order for an extra-large size.

I considered having the frame refurbished, but it's not a standard size, and custom framing would cost over 30,000 yen.
I decided against it as it would increase the price.

This is a very popular work in France.
Even smaller works by Peynet currently sell for around 300,000 yen in general galleries.

Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item.

Due to the war, import costs have increased, and art supplies have significantly risen in price.
