This is a hand-stitched 1-bu 2-rin tare (lower part of kendo armor) made of indigo-dyed leather.
It shows signs of use and has minor damage, but
as expected from hand-stitching, its durability is extremely high, and there are no issues with normal use.
It can be used as is, but
if you repair any areas of concern and re-dye the indigo,
it should be perfectly suitable for practice, matches, and examinations.
