Newt? Gecko? Chameleon? Rare Creature? Dragon?
Its large eyes are so charming!
Please check the images for size and weight.
Purchased at a hotel reception venue during a visit to China the year after the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and China was signed.
This is one of several items I fell in love with at first sight and purchased during a limited shopping time.
After returning to Japan, it was stored carefully in its original box, then placed in a storage box without ever being taken out.
The item is in beautiful condition, like new.
The box is also in relatively good condition.
As this item is about 50 years old, please check the images for any fine details and purchase only after you are satisfied.
I would be happy if it could be passed on to someone who will cherish it.
I have also listed a top-quality calligraphy set! Please take a look.
I am also listing other rare antiques, so please take a look. Feel free to comment for combined shipping discounts!
