The 3Dio Genuine Windscreen provides wind protection for your Free Space, Free Space XLR, and Free Space Pro II binaural microphones.
We partnered with Rycote®, the world leader in microphone windscreens, to design this genuine windscreen. It features a shower cap design with an elastic opening and attaches to the disks on each ear.

The windscreen uses a three-layer windproofing material.
The outer layer uses a fabric called a dead cat, which provides a professional look without being conspicuous.
Next to the dead cat layer is an oval-shaped internal windscreens custom-designed to fit the microphone's dummy ears. This intermediate layer is sewn to both the outer and inner fabric layers to keep it in place in windy conditions and during transport. The inner layer is a synthetic fiber that minimizes shedding and protects the ears and aluminum disks from scratches.
All three layers are sewn to an elastic band for easy fitting over the entire ear disk.

This genuine windscreen is designed to handle extremely high wind speeds. It has been tested and confirmed to block wind even in gusts exceeding 145 km/h (90 mph), and it remains securely attached to the ear disks even in strong winds. Furthermore, it is designed for quick and easy attachment.

The genuine windscreen is sold as a set of two.
