The RF-X is a reflection filter designed with the concept of Making Reflection Filter® More Accessible for artists on a budget.
The basic design follows the industry standard Reflexion Filter PRO. The materials and the structure of the mounting hardware for the microphone stand have been re-examined, achieving a lighter weight. It is primarily specialized for vocal recording in home studios and is designed to be mounted on top of a straight microphone stand.
The new material is not only light but also maintains durability.
The RF-X filter design consists of four layers: an outer panel made of vented composite material, a layer of wool fabric, an air gap layer, and an inner layer of foam. This multi-layer structure provides full-band filtering effects with minimal coloration.
